Christchurch Branch Event – The Elephant in the Room
July's Christchurch Branch event was "Technical content strategy, and why it pays to be granular". This was a look at component content management systems, and how to get clever with content. It was a popular session, but there was a metaphorical elephant in the room. It's one thing to have the technical solution, but how on earth do you manage the people? This was a question raised on the night, and it deserves to be answered, or at least explored.
Join us for an informal conversation about implementing a technical content strategy in real organisations with real people. We'd love you to share your experiences too, particularly if they are successful. Adrienne Sidal will report on her experience single-sourcing content across three separate faculties at the University of Canterbury. Emma Harding will report on past failures and recent successes single-sourcing at the Canterbury District Health Board.
Email us if you have a case you'd like to report on – or just join us to participate in the korero – all welcome.
