About the presenter
Tim’s passion for language is wide-reaching. He loves presenting to groups on any topic related to language. He enjoys the challenge of rewriting instruction manuals into simple language (and has spent many hours doing so). He’s also taught English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) across the globe.
When he’s not busy with work, Tim is also a keen sportsman and loves fishing. He spends a lot of time fishing from his kayak, but admits he hasn’t caught anything… yet. “I’ve caught a lot of seaweed. My wife refers to me as ‘the world’s worst fisherman’. But one day I’m going to prove her wrong!”
