We're looking for someone to join our Technical Writing team responsible for the online and printed documentation of market-leading Treasury Software. You will be working alongside professionals in an Agile software development environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with project and product managers to define documentation content.
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and other experts worldwide to obtain knowledge and technical information.
  • Writing technical and functional guides, release notes, and online help to incorporate changes and add new information as the products evolve.
  • Delivering content as needed to meet regular release dates and tight deadlines.

You should have:

  • At least 3 years technical writing experience, preferably within a software development environment.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, including, single sourcing, structured writing, and embedded user assistance, as these practices are incorporated in our deliverables.
  • Experience in maintaining and using advanced content management concepts in an Author-it environment, or similar (eg Madcap Flare).
  • Effective interview and analysis skills on both functional (financial) and technical details.
  • The ability to translate technical information into clear, simple, and concise English.
  • The ability to adhere to writing guidelines and review processes.

It would be a bonus if you had experience in any of the following:

  • Information design, templates etc.
  • Jira
  • Agile
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • HTML 5
  • CSS
  • Javascript
  • Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Visio)
  • Advanced MS Word concepts
  • Help for mobile devices
  • Web design and web help
  • Video editing software (e.g. Camtasia).
