Seequent (formerly ARANZ Geo) is a world leader in the development of data visualisation software. Our software enables our customers to create rich stories and uncover valuable insights from geological data, and ultimately make better decisions about their earth, environment and energy challenges.

We are looking for an experienced communicator to join our team. Seequent has been, and is on, a strong growth trajectory and we need a person who can manage the internal and external communications to support that growth. You will need to embrace a fast paced, rapidly changing environment, a mix of cultures (our staff and customers are global) and the multiple sectors (Mining, Civil &Environmental, Energy) we work across.

The Communications Manager is part of the senior Management team, leading a small team of content specialists and working closely with an external PR advisor. The role oversees and executes external and internal communications activities. and provides numerous opportunities for you to have a real impact on our organisation by developing and executing an innovative communications strategy that will support our continued growth.

Requirements

• A proven communications management track record;
• To be a change advocate and solicit collaboration across all stakeholders, including senior leaders;
• To have a can-do positive attitude & the ability to inspire confidence and create trust;
• Good working knowledge of how to leverage social media channels and other external communication channels;
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and be “hands on” to get the job done.

While we envisage this role to be full time, we would consider being flexible with hours for the right candidate.
