We are looking for a Technical Writer to create a voice for our products. You will contribute to the user experience and develop a user assistance model to unlock the full potential of the audience. You will join our Auckland-based product team who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Write, publish and maintain product launch, user assistance content (help and user interface messaging) with localization for primary markets - United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia
  • Manage the production of user assistance content for internal and external audiences
  • Create foundational material to be tailored by vertical-specific customer success teams
  • Collaborate with product and content experts, and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify user needs, use cases and metrics to focus priorities
  • Monitor support channels to identify any answers that require further documentation

You will be:

  • An experienced communicator with a portfolio of technical writing and editing samples
  • Passionate about clear and concise communication that has measurable impact for users, not creating shelfware
  • Able to be productive with modern content management systems and user assistance tooling
  • Capable of working closely with engineering and product management teams as part of the software development process
  • A structured thinker who can find a starting point then apply a set of practices to the content lifecycle
