We're looking for a confident plain language writer who can use our house writing style to help create crisp, clear customer communication. An important focus will be our high-volume customer letters and emails. The Advisor – Channels works as part of a team responsible for developing, enhancing and managing the Waka Kotahi communication channels, which include websites and other digital and non-digital channels and tools. You’ll offer advice and work with content owners to publish their content, ensuring it is fit for purpose for the channel and the audience, meets accessibility standards and supports Waka Kotahi to communicate effectively.

At Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, it all starts with our people. The organisation's performance and success depends on the people who choose to make this a great place to work and make a difference for Aotearoa. Waka Kotahi has a strong future focus, understanding that new technologies and changing customer expectations mean the transport system we know today will not be the one we deliver in ten year's time.

Te Waka Kōtuia our Engagement and Partnerships group supports the success of Waka Kotahi by strengthening relationships with our central and local government partners, communities and industry. We do this by telling great stories about the work Waka Kotahi does. Our diverse work spans a range of partners and stakeholders. We are responsible for supporting Ministers, coordinating collaboration across central government, leading relationships with our local government partners and engaging directly with the New Zealand public.
