Technical Author

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Author to join our team, to deliver high quality, customer-focused documentation. The role will be based in our Christchurch Head Office, reporting to the Technical Publications Team Leader. You will play a key part in the processing and delivering of specialised information provided by subject matter experts to create post-sale and client-facing publications that are of high value to our users and clients. You will be contributing to the maintenance of existing documentation and embedded help across a range of products.

About you

Your effectiveness in the role will be strongly determined by your attitude and demonstration of a professional approach in all aspects of your work. You will be a clear communicator in both written and oral media and show strong commitment to achieving agreed outcomes and meeting delivery schedules.

What you will bring

Ideally, you will have experience in the following:

• Madcap Flare
• Adobe FrameMaker
• Jira
• Relevant industry experience.

You will have the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong command of the English language
• Confidence and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• A passion for sharing knowledge.
