About the opportunity

A contract role now exists to assist the Head of Education at WorkflowMax. This role will really suit someone with a technical writing or training background who wishes to demonstrate their skills in the development of a broad range of instructional video content.

This contract is full-time for four months, starting immediately.

The WorkflowMax Education team is responsible for developing and maintaining the WorkflowMax support centre, a wide range of concise, video-based tutorials as well as a selection of online, self-paced courses.

This role will really suit someone with a technical writing or training background who wishes to demonstrate their skills in the development of a broad range of instructional video content.

What you will do

Your responsibilities will include

  • Creating new (and updating existing) education screencast video tutorials.
  • Publishing updated content in several channels.

What you will bring with you

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a technical writer or training content developer (or both), preferably in a software development environment.
  • Proofreading experience.
  • Have experience with using SaaS products or an understanding of what they are.
  • Some experience with HTML and CSS with some knowledge of the web environment.
  • High standard of written English with proven technical writing skills.
  • Proven use of a diverse range of software preferably including Adobe products including Photoshop, TechSmith products including Camtasia, or other audio and video products.
  • Bonus: understanding of job management processes.
