About MEGA

MEGA is a fast growing cloud storage and back-up company based in Auckland with global
users.

About the opportunity

An experienced technical writer is needed to present support information and answers to
FAQs about cloud storage to consumer and developer audiences. Written formats include the
‘help’ https://mega.nz/help section of the website and articles in user emails.

After allowing a block of time (e.g. 5 working days) to help prioritise and work through a back log
of existing topics, the ongoing role will take an estimated 4-6 hours per week. There may be
additional projects writing software documentation and marketing collateral.

About you

While no developer or coding background is required, the writer will be able to put themselves in
the user’s shoes to create effective ‘help’ content that adds to the overall MEGA brand
experience. The role would suit a writer with 4+ years experience who can help us prioritise the
writing workflow.

Where

The role is based at MEGA’s modern, friendly offices in Albert Street to allow for information
sharing and collaboration with the developer and customer support teams. There is flexibility
about which day is worked (and in time the role could be done remotely).
