Christchurch Branch Event - Technical Content in the Age of Social Media

Matthew Ellison presenting They may be half a planet away, but our TC colleagues in the United Kingdom have just run the TCUK conference and one of your national committee members - Emma Harding - nobly clambered into an aeroplane to attend. We do like to keep our finger on the global pulse! This year's conference theme was Technical Content in the Age of Social Media.

A highlight of the conference was Doug Kim's keynote in which he explained how Microsoft changed its language and reworded the Blue Screen of Death. He also brought up the subject of Boris Bikes...

Come along to Streamliners on Tuesday 30 September to network and also hear a potted summary of what Emma learned at TCUK 2014 - Technical Content in the Age of Social Media.

About the speaker

Emma Harding works at Streamliners in Christchurch when she isn't attending conferences. She's been a technical communicator since 1989 and the lines are beginning to show. She has a passion for getting people together in a room to talk about matters relating to technical communications, and she also likes food, wine, and holidays.
