Airways was already preparing us to work from home before the lockdown. Most of us were able to take our office equipment home and set up a decent working space... some of us with much better views!
Many teams are staying connected through video conferencing (Microsoft Teams). From daily task sharing, to virtual-drinkies on Fridays, we have created virtual team bubbles to share our lockdown experiences and boost team morale.
We are using cloud services (Office 365) to work and collaborate effectively. We are fortunate that our forward-thinking IT team has provided us with well-integrated tools to work remotely.
Our technical training team has also taken the opportunity to re-think how they deliver training, and is adapting their material for bite-sized and remote learning. Learners are also more available and willing to participate.
