Auckland Branch Event - Creating whiteboard videos on VideoScribe and e-learning modules on MS PowerPoint

In this session, Deborah Brierley, an experienced Sysdoc Trainer and Learning Specialist will demonstrate two ways to create training videos. Deborah creates videos using whatever tool she can get her hands on, so with VideoScribe she looks like a professional animator and with boring-old Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, she produces e-learning modules like no other!

VideoScribe is a whiteboard video tool that unleashes your inner animator. You can create great whiteboard videos by drawing, moving, morphing or zooming your pictures. You can add other images, voice-overs and music to grab your audience and add some impact to a presentation. And you don’t even need to know how to draw. Deborah will step you through a VideoScribe demonstration and will divulge some of the tricks she has learnt whilst having fun on this tool.

Microsoft PowerPoint creates videos and e-learning? Yes, a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation can be published as a video or an e-learning module. Deborah will show how to update your PowerPoint skills and turn a slideshow into an animated, narrated and multimedia video presentation.
