Christchurch Branch Event - Task Models, Diggers, and Dayton, Ohio

Being involved with keen, easily excitable user experience colleagues inspired Maree Horlor of Trimble NZ to learn about task models as a way to find out more about her audience. The chance to work with a small and diverse group of installers, writers, UX designers, kitting and IT specialists to discuss end-to-end documentation was too good to turn down, so she grabbed her teaching skills and passport and headed off to Dayton, Ohio.

Maree will talk about the very successful and fun 3-day process they used to define their user’s workflow, learn how to use personas, obtain some base-line metrics, and lay the groundwork for next generation user assistance. There will also be pictures of some very big diggers!
