The Corporate Safety and Health team are primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of the safety and health framework and champion Meridian's safety culture by providing operational safety, health and wellness support across the Company.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Safety and Health Team as our new Technical Writer in a 12 month fixed term role. This is a key role where you'll be reviewing, writing and re-jigging critical safety documents, making sure that information is accurate and streamlined.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience and/or qualification in technical writing/communication, ideally in H&S
- Preferably some safety and health knowledge in a high-risk environment
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Strong organisational and follow up skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others to accomplish projects
- Attention to detail
- Proven record of implementing frameworks and processes
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing documentation processes and electronic document management.
