Christchurch Branch Event: Meet New President, Katie Haggath

2020 was a big year for change, and TechCommNZ is no different. In our first event for 2021, Katie will be introducing the new Board and our 5-Year Plan for TechCommNZ, especially what’s in the pipeline for the coming year.

We don’t want to give out too many spoilers, but if you'd like to hear about Conference Lite, creating a national network, or the revival of our Student Outreach Programme, then you’ll definitely want to come along.

About the speaker

Katie is our most recently elected President (and she’ll be the first to say she has some big shoes to fill!).

Katie is passionate about bring tech comms to students; and helping tech writers to grow their network and create their own opportunities.

She’s been on the TechCommNZ Board for 5 years in various roles, and if you haven’t met her yet, just listen out for the most British voice in the room and you’ll find her. She also loves talking to people, so come introduce yourself!
